The Hard Yards - Lunch or Breakfast?

This is always the hard decision on holidays - but as I advised Katie, if you pack a range of outfits in your handbag, you're always ready for all events (this includes a cossie and hat, that she was always very reluctant to pop into on the spur of the moment!). God knows why.

Chef Timo and I are a little alike, in that we hate turning up for breakfast and they tell you it's finished and lunch doesn't start for an hour and a half - WTF!! We have the same hatred of lunch/dinner timing issues. Only answer seems to be avoid such establishments that force you to eat according to their timetable. I mean you're on holidays and should not be forced to keep the same hours as you do when working - or am I missing something here?

Luckily, they didn't try that caper here - there was a seamless segue into lunch/brunch which involved fresh sea bass. I guess 7 stars is ultimately worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nam Hai Extremely Fancy Restaurant Bathroom

Posted by PicasaCheck out this unbelievable bathroom - almost makes you desperate to powder your nose! Please note the extensive use of marble - we did eventually leave the comfort of the resort world and venture out to Marble Mountain as a result of this experience.

Hoi An on any Sunday (with Timo)

He liked the kitten so much he bought two!

The Fanciest of the Resorts - On this Strip - Nam Hai

This one had three pools. The trip advisor likes this many pools as it enables you to escape from super freaks etc....It also enables you to change your view, outfits and orientation, which I think is extremely important as I like to follow the sun, when it is dying down with the sunset!

And BTW the coffee was awesome - I just needed to ask the waiter to mix it for me!

Timo Seldom Gets a Day Off

Due to a bad motor scooter accident, and the flow on workplace effects, Tim wasn't able to take many days off work - therefore most photos of him are in the workplace. Luckily for us, his workplace is like heaven, so we were able to entertain ourselves and have the 'best holiday ever'! We did need to go home and change for dinner - but that just created another opportunity for us to reassess our wardrobe and plan for the next day's shopping LOL!
